Ok well i think its time for another cruise. This one will be on Monday the 5th of May which is the Labour Day public holiday here in Qld. So here's the details.
Main Meet: KFC car park Redbank Plaza, park where the pink dot is.
Time: 10.00 for a 10.30ish departure
Gold Coast meet point: BP Yatala (side carpark)
Time: 8.45am for a 9.15 departure. Look for Seb in a white & gun metal 2 tone import GTS. Here's Seb's number 0448880550.
Send him a txt the night before to confirm if your coming and so he'll know who we're waiting for. Also let him know if you're going to be late.
Sunny Coast Meet: Ettamogah Pub
Time: 7am for a 7:30-8am start. Look for stubby131 Blue Pinny wagon, he is allowing time for any holdups.
What To Bring: Full tank of fuel, a good attitude, friends & family, UHF radio if you have one, maybe a fold up chair & a jumper as i think it might be cold at Wivenhoe Lookout (it was freezing there when i went last time).
I have made sure this cruise covers most styles of roads with a bit of 4 lane highway/ open roads, scenic & some twisties sections.
From the main meet point we will head out to Mt Glorious via Fernvale, stopping at Wivenhoe Lookout for
a sausage sizzle & a good old fashioned chat. After this we well continue over Mt Glorious & down through Samford & out to Dayboro with maybe a short stop for a tiolet break if need be. From Dayboro we then head for Mt Mee once at Mt Mee we will hang a right down Campbells Pocket Rd in which we will follow down towards Caboolture & back out to the Bruce Highway. The finish will be at the BP Service Center south bound at Burpengary.
I hope to have a sausage sizzle & drinks arranged for this, but i will see how i go. I would also recommend you check your brakes & if they need work try to do it before hand as there is some steep descents on this cruise.
I would like to mention this is not a race so don't drive like it is, if you want to race go to QR. If you want to drive like a dickhead this is not the cruise for you & anyone that does will be asked to leave & i plan to inforce this on the day, this also means
NO BURNOUTS. I also want to mention this is not a liscenced cruise which means
NO DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC BEAVAGES or you will also be asked to leave, if you have to drink leave it till after the cruise.
